The Task Management tool in Coonex allows you and your team to create, assign, and track daily actions across leads, projects, and clients — all inside the CRM.
Every task is linked to a specific record (e.g., Lead, Project, Contract, or Invoice) and includes full visibility on progress, deadlines, and accountability.
1. Overview #
Coonex Tasks help you organize your workflow by assigning specific responsibilities to agents, marketers, or managers.
Each task contains:
- Status tracking (To Do, In Progress, Review, Done)
- Priority levels
- Assignment and due dates
- Reminders and recurrence options
- Related entity (Lead, Project, Client, etc.)
2. How to Create a New Task #
- Navigate to CRM → Tasks → Add New Task.
- Fill out the Basic Information fields:
- Task Name* — Give your task a short, clear title (e.g., “Call Lead Ahmed – Project Downtown”).
- Status* — Select one of the available statuses:
- To Do
- In Progress
- Review
- Done
- Assign To* — Choose the user responsible for completing the task.
- Priority* — Set the importance level:
- Minor
- Major
- Critical
- Blocker
- Related To* — Define what this task is connected to:
- Lead
- Project
- Client
- Contract
- Invoice
- Order
- Subscription
- Ticket
- Start Date / End Date / Due Date* — Schedule the task timeline.
- Recurring Schedule — Optional: set the task to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly.
- Reminder — Enable notification before the due date.
- Description / Notes — Add details, links, or instructions for the assigned team member.
3. File Attachments #
You can attach supporting files such as proposals, screenshots, contracts, or reports to any task.
How to Attach a File:
- Scroll to the Attachment Files section.
- Click Upload File or Browse Your Device.
- Supported formats: PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX, XLSX.
- Uploaded files are stored securely and accessible to all task collaborators.

Statuses help you visualize progress and keep your workflow organized.

7. Recurring & Reminder Settings #
To maintain consistent workflows, Coonex allows you to schedule recurring tasks and automatic reminders.
- Recurring Tasks: Repeat tasks daily, weekly, or monthly — useful for routine check-ins or reporting.
- Reminders: Get notified by email or in-app notification before the due date.
8. Task Monitoring and Updates #
All team members can track their assigned tasks from the Tasks Dashboard:
- Filter by Status, Priority, or Assignee.
- View upcoming or overdue tasks.
- Managers can monitor progress and close tasks after review.
9. Best Practices #
- Keep task names short and action-oriented (e.g., “Send project proposal to client”).
- Always set a due date to avoid forgotten items.
- Use Review status for internal quality checks.
- Attach related documents for clear communication.
- Close completed tasks immediately to maintain clean dashboards.
